A full-size, studio made reproduction of the iconic Central Perk couch from Seasons 1 through 10 of Friends (Warner Bros. Television, 1994-2004). The gang spent many famous scenes on Central Perk's main orange couch, catching up, making jokes, and demonstrating the cast's crackling chemistry.
This item, modelled from the original by Warner Bros., features orange velvet cushions and back pillows with carved brown resin paneling lacquered to look wooden and copper-color tassels adorning the front skirt.
A studio made reproduction of the iconic Central Perk sign which hung outside the Friends (Warner Bros. Television, 1994-2004) gang's favorite gathering place. The original sign can be seen frequently throughout the series (indeed, it is the first thing the audience sees at the beginning of the series' first episode, "The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate"). Phoebe gets in an argument in front of the sign with Stephanie, who comes to replace her as the coffee shop's singer, in season two, episode six, "The One with the Baby on the Bus," in which Phoebe sings "Smelly Cat" for the first time.
The particle board sign features red and white text saying “Central Perk” flanked by two tan coffee mugs.
The item was created for a Time Warner exhibit in 2005.
A grey sweater worn by Rachel Green. The grey mohair sweater features a turtle neck and long sleeves, with a Warner Bros. barcode sticker present in the interior. Also with a label pinned to the interior that reads, "People Use To Dream About The Future." Size M.
Rachel can be seen wearing the sweater in Season 7, Episode 16 titled “The One With The Truth About London.” In the episode, Ross asks a nervous Rachel to babysit his son Ben for the first time. Rachel then entertains Ben by teaching him every prank she knows, the only problem being he starts playing them on his parents.
Accompanied by a costume tag.
A knit top worn by Monica Geller. The brown and tan knit top features flared long sleeves and an asymmetrical striped pattern. No size or label present.
Geller can be seen wearing the top in Season 9, Episode 15 titled “The One With The Mugging," in the episode opener at Central Perk. Chandler tells the gang he’s gotten an advertising internship, a career turning point for him.
Accompanied by two costume tags.
A studio made reproduction of the iconic “Aux Buttes Chaumont Jouets” print in a tan wooden frame, which is prominently displayed in Monica’s living room throughout the series Friends (Warner Bros. Television, 1994-2004). The piece features an illustration of a child riding a rocking horse.
A studio made reproduction of the Geller Cup Trophy prop. The original was used in the production of season 3, episode 9, "The One with the Football."
In the Thanksgiving episode, the gang decides to play a game of football before dinner. Ross and Monica tell the others that they have been forbidden to play football by their parents ever since a long ago Thanksgiving when they played the annual “Geller Bowl” to win the prized “Geller Cup.” One year, Ross and Monica got so competitive that she broke his nose, leading their parents to throw the trophy in the lake and forbid them from playing football ever again. Nonetheless they do, with the expected chaotic results—especially when Monica reveals that she rescued the Geller Cup from its watery grave and still has it. After all of the build up everyone is surprised to see that it’s a troll doll nailed to a piece of wood.
The “home-made” trophy consists of a blonde troll doll nailed to the top of a roughly-cut piece of wood with a chunk missing from its right side. The piece of wood is screwed into an upside down metal can that serves as the trophy’s base. The wood section is adorned with plastic labelmaker strips reading “Geller Bowl,” “77 Ross,” “78 Ross,” “79 Monica,” “80 Ross,” “81 Monica,” “82 Monica,” “83 Ross.”
A long coat worn by Phoebe Buffay. The blue denim coat features faux fur at each cuff and neck, two front pockets, and embroidered flowers with a Japanese print at the hem and sleeve cuffs, as well as a patterned interior lining. No size or label present.
Phoebe can be seen wearing the coat in various episodes, including the Season 7 episode “The One With Joey’s Award,” when she visits Monica at work and tells her about a hot first date. Monica gets a little bit jealous, since after she and Chandler get married she’ll never experience that new boyfriend excitement again.
A studio made reproduction of the “It’s NOT a boy!” banner which Phoebe hangs to welcome Rachel home from the hospital after she gives birth to her and Ross’s baby Emma on Friends (Warner Bros. Television, 1994-2004).
The white rectangular banner/sign “It’s A Boy!” has the word “Not” editorially inserted between “It’s” and “A” in black magic marker. It is made of plastic posterboard with a thin plastic overplay on which words and cutesy graphics are imprinted. Brass grommets are present at the corners.
The original banner appears in season nine, episode two, “The One Where Emma Cries.” Phoebe is hanging the banner at Ross and Rachel’s apartment to welcome Rachel home from the hospital. She explains that they were out of “It’s A Girl!” signs at the store, so she is customizing this one to say “It’s Not A Boy!”
A long-sleeved top worn by Ross Geller. The blue, polyester-blend long-sleeved top features two side slits. Labeled “Ted Baker London.” Size 4.
Geller can be seen wearing the top in Season 9, Episode 16 titled “The One With The Boob Job," in the scene where Phoebe tells the gang that she’s going to move in with her boyfriend Mike. Later in the episode, Ross helps Phoebe realize that she wants to marry commitment-ambivalent Mike, which ultimately leads to their break up.
Accompanied by two costume tags.
An original ceramic phrenology head set decoration. The item sat on Ross Geller’s desk in his third apartment, where he lived from season five until the end of the series. It can be seen frequently, including in season 6, episode 11, "The One with the Apothecary Table," season six, episode 17, “The One with Unagi,” and season seven, episode six, “The One with the Nap Partners.”
Studio made reproductions of a Monkeyshine Beer bottle and a framed Monkeyshine Beer, the originals of which were seen on Friends (Warner Bros. Television, 1994-2004).
The ad features a swimsuit model sharing a bottle of beer with Ross’s beloved pet monkey Marcel, dressed in a Hawaiian shirt. The copy “Cause it’s a jungle out there” is printed in the upper right corner and a Monkeyshine beer bottle graphic is printed in the lower right corner. The ad is surrounded by a thin yellow border and black matte, and is mounted in a black wood and glass frame.
Monkeyshine Beer and its advertisement feature prominently in the two-part season two episode “The One After the Superbowl.” Ross sees a commercial for the beer featuring a monkey who looks suspiciously like Marcel, and starts to miss him. He finds out that he’s become a rising star (and beer spokesmonkey) in Hollywood, and Ross and the gang track him to the set of Outbreak 2 where they have various misadventures.
The two-part episode aired after the Superbowl on January 28, 1996, as part of NBC’s effort to achieve the “highest-grossing ad-revenue day in television history” according to an article in The Tampa Tribune. The episode, which was studded with guest stars like Julia Roberts, Brooke Shields, Chris Isaak, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Fred Willard, and Dan Castellaneta won 52.925 million viewers at a 47 percent audience share, making it the most-watched episode of the series.
A sweater worn by Chandler Bing (Warner Bros. Television, 1994-2004). The teal, 100% cashmere, polo-style sweater features long sleeves and a two-button front closure. Labeled "Autumn Cashmere." Size L.
Chandler can be seen wearing the sweater in Season 7, Episode 10 titled “The One With The Holiday Armadillo," in a scene at Central Perk where Monica informs him she won’t be changing her last name to Bing. Then again when Phoebe brings her late mother’s Christmas candy dish—a human skull—for the gang’s holiday party.
Accompanied by a costume tag.
A striped shirt worn by Joey. The short-sleeved, button-down shirt features brown plastic buttons and a brown, burgundy, and tan striped pattern. Labeled “Ben Sherman.” Size 4/XL.
Joey can be seen wearing the shirt in Season 10, Episode 1 titled “The One After Joey and Rachel Kiss," in the scene on the plane going home from Barbados, when he tries to admit to Ross that he and Rachel kissed. Joey then gets thrown off when Ross admits to him that he kissed Joey’s ex-girlfriend Charlie, and chickens out.
Accompanied by a costume tag.
A studio made reproduction of Joey’s handwritten speech for Monica and Chandler’s wedding on Friends (Warner Bros. Television, 1994-2004) on a sheet of yellow lined note paper. Joey can be seen drafting and reading from the original prop in season seven, episode 16, “The One with the Truth About London.”
The speech has assorted misspellings and bad punctuation, and reads “We are gathered here today on this joyous occasion, to celebrate the special love that Monica & Chandler share. It is a love based on giving and receiving. As well as having and sharing. And the love that they give and have is shared and received. And through this having and giving and sharing and receiving, we, too, can share and love and have and receive.”
