An original production-made costume developed for Gal Gadot as "Diana Prince / Wonder Woman" in the DC Comics film Wonder Woman (Warner Bros. Pictures, 2017).

This costume is complete with a hand-painted cast rubber chestplate, with internal fabric corset. Attached at the bottom of the chestplate is a hand-painted foam skirt, made of multiple subsections. The interior of the chestplate section of the costume is silver-tone.

Over the course of production, fourteen different styles of costumes were created for Gal Gadot and her body double, all designed for unique purposes. In an interview Gal Gadot noted, "I need to be able to fight, move, sit, kick." The actress continued, "We ended up having over fourteen different costumes. One is softer, one is shinier, one is heavier, one is darker, one is lighter."This costume would not ultimately be used in the final cut of the film, but exhibits the approved damage, fitment, and overall paint detailing. The only variation noted between this production-made costume and the versions seen in the film, is the tone of a portion of the Wonder Woman emblem. This example features a silver-tone painted emblem band, and those seen in the film feature a gold-tone Wonder Woman emblem band.

The storyline revolves around Diana, Princess of Themyscira, raised on the secluded island of Themyscira, inhabited solely by the Amazons. However, when pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) crash-lands on the island and reveals the horrors of the Great War unfolding beyond their shores, Diana embarks on a mission to end the conflict and embrace her destiny as Wonder Woman.
