A gouache on illustration board work; depicting the star with "pillow-slip white" hair as she holds a white fur stole; signed in the lower right corner "Jon Whitcomb;" this piece was created by the artist to use on the cover of the March 1959 issue of "Cosmopolitian" where an accompanying article (that Whitcomb also wrote) appears on page 68 on page 70 is a small black and white illustration of the two as Monroe poses for him; Whitcomb later gifted this finished painting to the star; included are two copies of the March 1959 magazine that were in Marilyn's files.
