United Artists 1961; a navy blue folder embossed with "The Misfits" on the cover; inside are approximately 100 loose leaf pages of "revised" text which was happening on a daily basis throughout the troubled production; ranging in date from the beginning of August to the end of September 1960 this folder contains Paula Strasberg's own copies of the 'script change' pages though five have been annotated in pencil by Marilyn; on the first page dated "8/20/60 " Marilyn writes "metal relaxation / night / where am I / cold chill / to myself / remember 7B;" on the second page dated "Sept. 27 1960 " she writes "it's like a dream;" on the third page with same date she writes "connected to him / octive [sic] lower / octive [sic] lower / hospital / adjustment;" on the fourth page with same date she writes "like a child / almost / hear / my heart;" and on the fifth page with the same date she writes "upset / stomach" -- overall an engrossing look into the star's Method-style of acting.
