This is a two-piece embellished cerulean, blue two-piece suit from the collection of Boy George, worn in 1984 for a televised interview with Phil Donahue along with fellow Culture Club band members. 

The design features a wool single-breasted cerulean, blue blazer with a notch lapel, blind snap closure, silver knit with sequin at the shoulders and upper back (mantle) and cuffs, as well as beaded floral applique at the collar, hips, and lapel. The jacket is paired with matching high-waisted straight leg pants with rick-rack silver sequin tuxedo stripes at the side seams and beaded floral appliques at each belt loop, both the jacket and the pants are lined with a polyester blend fabric, no labels present. 

The blazer was also seen on The David Letterman Show, when Boy George appeared on the talk show wearing a headdress and cape. He presented the blue blazer to Letterman to wear, offering the host, bolder attire to conduct the interview.
