This is a Dean Bright denim blazer with abstract pattern (sperm) and sequin embellishment from the collection of Boy GeorgeThis blazer was worn on multiple occasions, including during Boy George's concert at the Limelight in New York on November 19, 1995, as part of his Satan's Butterfly Ball tour supporting the album Cheapness and Beauty. The design is single-breasted cotton denim jacket that has a wide peak lapel, fully-pattern with white sequin embellishment. There is a Dean Bright label sewn on the interior of the neckline, this was custom piece made for Boy George. The jacket also features hand sewn patches. 

This design was on exhibition at the Fashion + Textile Museum, Outlaws: Fashion Renegades of 80s London, featuring designs worn at the legendary night club Taboo, opened by Leigh Bowery, where artists and club goers wore more eccentric, outlandish designs pushing boundaries in terms of gender norms. The exhibition was curated by Martin Green, Duovision Arts, and NJ Stevenson. Designer David Cabaret served as the exhibition's artistic director.
