This is a mixed medium butterfly decorated headdress, performance worn, piece from the collection of Boy George. This headdress was worn for a performance of “Victims” in 2003 at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, in London, England. 

A mix-material headdress hand decorated, fully embellished throughout, adhered by wire or glue. The headpiece features butterflies, sequins, chains, crosses, plastic gemstones, beads, straws, and metal filigree airbrushed and covered in glitter. The front interior of the headpiece is lined with foam, the back is open with an elastic band and wire to secure the placement and hold the weight.
