A pair of leather patterned brogues made by Grenson for Vivienne Westwood from the collection of Boy George. These brogues were designed for the 2014 Spring/Summer collection. Andreas Kronthaler, the Creative Director of Vivienne Westwood, wore the shoes during the finale of the show.

The brogues feature Westwood's classic Pirate squiggly line painted in dark brown. The interior of the soles are lined with smooth leather and have a gilt-gold tone stamp at the interior heel.

Boy George has been a longtime fan of Westwood designs and knew the designer personally during her lifetime. During an interview with Julien’s Auction Boy George said, “Vivienne Westwood is the mother of London style, 1000%. I just did the music for the Westwood show in Paris, and I was able to kind of write this whole is sort of soundtrack to the story of Vivienne.”Vivienne Westwood Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear draws on The Red Shoes as a metaphor for climate change and overconsumption, pairing a theatrical presentation with a focus on long-lasting design. The collection features signature tailoring, floral prints, and structured silhouettes, reflecting Westwood’s emphasis on timeless pieces over fast fashion. As Vivienne Westwood said after her show, “Buy less, choose well, make it last. Quality rather than quantity: That is true sustainability.”
