A hardcover; by Blondell, dust jacket, published in 1972 by Delacorte Press, New York, signed in black felt-tip ink on the title page “dearest Ann-Margaret [sic] / I think of just / you as Nora Marten / love / Joan” ["Nora" being a character in the novel]; funnily, Blondell first inscribed this book on the dedication page to a “Harry," but evidently failed to give it to him, so she re-signed it for Ann-Margret on a different page!Ann-Margret and Joan Blondell worked together in the 1965 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, “The Cincinnati Kid” which boasted an all-star cast of Steve McQueen, Edward G. Robinson, Tuesday Weld, Karl Malden, Rip Torn, and Cab Calloway.
