Framed.Giant (Waner Bros., 1956) marked James Dean's final big screen role—the young actor dying a year before the movie's release date—and earned Dean his second Academy Award nomination, one of nine nominations for the film. In 2005, the film was selected for the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.
