1938, original print; glossy finish. A studio photograph of the great comedienne Lucille Ball, standing and looking to the side in a dark dress and heels with a tiered necklace. Ball signed the photo in purple ink in the upper left corner: “To Kay, Best Wishes, Lucille Ball.”“Lucille Ball” written in pencil on verso. Stamp to verso identifies the photo as coming from RKO Radio Pictures, copyright 1938, by photographer Ernest A. Bachrach.The face of the photograph has many small pockmark indentations, and some round ridge creases. Two instances of tape residue on bottom edge of verso.
