Six reels of 35mm Kodak film stock with 1978 date codes and stereo optical soundtrack, containing anamorphic footage of the classic film Star Wars: A New Hope (20th Century Fox, 1977).Housed in two metal Goldberg Bros. cases. “Dom. CRI” indicated on film stock.This print was said to have been shown at an outdoor pool at a Las Vegas casino in the 1970s. It was thought to have been lost because the United Artists labels around each reel incorrectly labeled the reels as being for the Burt Reynolds film Gator (United Artists, 1976).Note: the film has color-shifted and exhibits mild vinegar syndrome with some warping. It has not been projected or otherwise tested for quality.
