An original 1929 Scott Flying Squirrel motorcycle and sidecar, owned and ridden by Steve McQueen, and accompanied by a laminated copy of the Steve McQueen Estate Auction Certificate of Authenticity from 1984.
This motorcycle can be seen represented in the 1984 Steve McQueen Estate Auction catalogue as Lot 555, offered on November 25, 1984. The Steve McQueen Estate Auction was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 24 - 25, 1984.

The owner states that the motorcycle underwent a full service within the past year and currently runs and rides as intended. These representations, along with all other vehicle functions and operating conditions, have not been independently tested or verified by Julien's Auctions. Julien's makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the condition, functionality, or operation of the vehicle.
The Scott Flying Squirrel is accompanied by a laminated copy of the Certificate of Authenticity from the Steve McQueen Estate Auction, paired with a laminated copy of the lot tag from its sale at Sotheby's in 1991, a US State of Missouri title dated October 30, 1986 listing the owner as Paul Gilbert of Branson, a C&E 386 import certificate with a stamp dated March 21, 1990, a letter from Michael Worthting-Williams, the then-Vice President of the UK Chapter of The Society of Automotive Historians Inc. dated March 13, 1990, and a letter from W.J. Corry, the then-Managing Director of Freeway Classics LTD., to Dale Winfield, dated July 9, 1991. This motorcycle was previously offered at Sotheby's in an April 1991 auction at Staffordshire and later offered at Bonhams in April 2025 as part of The Dale Winfield Motorcycle Collection.
