An original blue jacket similar to that worn by Steve McQueen as “Michael Delaney” during the production of the film Le Mans (National General Pictures, 1971).This Glenoit brand jacket features a Polarmate black lining. Size 48. Made in England. Two Gulf Oil Team Sweden patches are affixed to the jacket on the left arm and one at the left breast. The jacket was a gift from McQueen to makeup artist and friend Wes Dawn in the mid-1970s. Dawn gifted the jacket to sportswriter Kerry Morse in 1981.
