All proceeds from the sale of these pieces, which were donated by some of the most influential figures in music, went to support MusiCares®' vital work with artists in need.

The annual MusiCares Charity Relief Auction, a collaboration between Julien's Auctions and MusiCares®, took place on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025. Timed with the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards®, the event was a highlight of GRAMMY® Week and was held at The Recording Academy in Santa Monica, with online bidding available for a global audience.

This year's auction was a unique opportunity for music fans, collectors, and philanthropists to own a piece of music history. The meticulously curated catalog featured over 60 one-of-a-kind items generously donated by some of the most influential figures in music, spanning different genres and generations. All proceeds from the event went directly to MusiCares® to support its vital work with musicians in need.

Highlights included:

Instruments of Legends: A 2024 Fender American Vintage II Telecaster signed by Bruce Springsteen, a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar owned and signed by Neil Young, and a 2023 Martin DX-2E acoustic electric guitar bearing the signatures of music luminaries including Paul McCartney, Snoop Dogg, and Sheryl Crow, acquired at a tribute concert for Jimmy Buffett.

Iconic Stage and Studio Artifacts: A sequined jumpsuit worn by Dolly Parton at the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year gala, a black felt top hat signed by Stevie Nicks, a custom-made burgundy satin blazer owned and worn by Lionel Richie, and a 2009 Squier Avril Lavigne Telecaster signed by Olivia Rodrigo.

The Rise of K-Pop: In a nod to the genre's global impact, the auction introduces stage-worn ensembles and accessories from K-pop idols SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, marking a significant moment for collectors of contemporary music memorabilia.

Rare and Personal Treasures: A signed portrait artwork of Quincy Jones, a Coldplay concert setlist handwritten by Chris Martin, and signed memorabilia from Ringo Starr, Slash, Sting, and Teddy Swims offer intimate glimpses into the creative processes of renowned artists.
