Julien’s Auctions, the industry-leading Hollywood auction house, has announced the full auction catalog of over 500 marquee items celebrating the legendary beauty and style of the Golden Globe Award-winning trailblazer Raquel Welch.
“BOMBSHELL: THE RAQUEL WELCH COLLECTION” will take place Friday, April 12th live in Los Angeles and online at juliensauctions.com. The exclusive event was previously announced following the one-year anniversary of the death of the pop culture icon, one of Hollywood’s most famous sex symbols who became a pioneer of the strong female lead character from her roles in Fantastic Voyage, Hannie Caulder, Myra Breckinridge, The Three Musketeers, and One Million Years B.C. The image of Welch wearing her iconic fur and hide bikini became a cultural phenomenon and one of the biggest pinup posters of all time. Costumes, awards, and memorabilia from Raquel Welch’s films and television specials, as well as furniture, home décor, personal items, and more will dazzle the auction block.
