1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard Sunburst, serial number 9 0365. The guitar is in pristine, all-original, collectors-grade condition. Considered the most desirable vintage, solid-body electric guitar, only approximately 643 examples were made in 1959. These instruments defined the sound of “Rock n Roll” with their solid mahogany body, a figured maple top, Brazilian rosewood fretboard and the original “Patent Applied For” humbucking pickups. Accompanied by original Gibson strings / hang tags which include the “Mr. Dealer” tag, humbucking pickup adjustment fold-out, the Tune-O-Matic bridge instructions and even the switch tags. Includes original five-latch Gibson Logo, brown Lifton case.
