Amber Charter Schools to Hold 25th Anniversary Benefit Auction in Partnership with Julien’s

This Fall, Amber Charter Schools marks a remarkable milestone—25 years of educational excellence, community empowerment, and transformative impact in New York City. To honor this legacy and fuel the next chapter, Amber Charter Schools and the Amber Education Fund (AEF) will hold a special benefit auction in partnership with Julien’s Auctions.
A Legacy Rooted in Community and Achievement
Founded in 2000 as the first Latino-led charter school in New York State, Amber Charter Schools has grown from a single location in East Harlem to a thriving network that now includes campuses in Kingsbridge and Inwood. Amber’s mission has always been clear: deliver rigorous academics, holistic enrichment, and unwavering support to children from underserved communities, with a special focus on bilingual education and cultural celebration.
The Amber Education Fund, established in 2014, serves as the “friends of” fundraising arm, ensuring that Amber’s vision continues to reach new heights and more families across the city.
A Unique Opportunity to Give Back
In partnership with Julien’s Auctions—a global leader in entertainment and celebrity memorabilia—Amber’s 25th Anniversary Auction promises an unforgettable experience for both supporters and collectors. Proceeds will directly benefit Amber Charter Schools’ programs, scholarships, and enrichment initiatives, helping to unlock opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
Online and Live Bidding: Whether you’re attending the event in person or joining from afar, you’ll have the chance to participate in both online and live bidding.
Exclusive Items: Expect a curated selection of extraordinary memorabilia, unique experiences, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Past Julien’s auctions have featured items from the worlds of music, film, sports, and art—this event will be no exception.
Special Participation by Lin-Manuel Miranda: Broadway icon Lin-Manuel Miranda, celebrated creator of Hamilton and In the Heights, will be lending his support to the auction. The son of Amber founder Luis Miranda, Lin-Manuel’s involvement underscores the school’s deep roots in the community and its ongoing commitment to the arts and education.
