January 4, 2024

An NFT of a pair of black canvas Converse Jack Purcell shoes that were owned and worn by Kurt Cobain. On the white rubber tip of each shoe written in black marker, the left shoe reads "Fuhgawz" and the right shoe "Foogauzie". It is rumored that Cobain wrote "Fuhgawz" on his left shoe making fun of Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam who misspelled "Fugazi" on his shirt before a photo shoot. The shoes can be seen worn in many photographs and videos of Kurt Cobain, most notably at the 1993 MTV Music Awards, making them a distinctive part of his style.

NFT ATTRIBUTES A 360° digital representation of Kurt Cobain's Converse shoes, this NFT is a 1 of 1 Edition of the physical item and does not include the physical shoes.

The item is brought to life in an even more personal way through Kim Cobain's exclusive audio narration, which is minted as part of this NFT. An NFT is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on the blockchain. The winner of this item will share in the exclusivity of Cobain history as the sole owner of the NFT.

NFT NARRATION “Kurt always had these sneakers and wore them often. Apparently, Eddie Vedder once wrote “Fuhgawz” on his shirt just before a photo shoot, intentionally misspelling the word Fugazi, which is a punk band from Washington, DC. And supposedly Kurt was making fun of this by writing “FUHGAWZ” and “FOOGAUZIE” on his shoes.”
