The collection will be approximately 350 lots all related to the stunningly beautiful and talented dancer and actress best remembered for the Golden Era musicals she starred in including “Easter Parade” from 1948 where her co-stars were Fred Astaire and Judy Garland, “On the Town” from 1949 where her co-stars were Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra, and “Kiss Me Kate” from 1953 where he co-stars where Howard Keel and Kathryn Grayson.

Miller never stopped working, famously performing on Broadway as “Mame” in 1969 and then again in the 1980s with Mickey Rooney in “Sugar Babies.” Interestingly, Miller ended her storied career with oddball director David Lynch in his mysterious masterpiece, “Mulholland Drive” in 2001.

Lots in the auction will include many of Miller’s passports, professional paperwork, some of her famous make-up (including her trademark blue eyeshadow!), vintage perfume bottles, scripts from films she made, letters from her famous friends, and literally thousands of stunning black and white original print photographs of Miller, ranging in date from the 1930s up until the 1990s, most have not been seen in 75+ years! There will also be many lots of her jewelry and other personal effects from her private life.
