Bidders can bid in the timed auction by visiting julienslive.com and creating an account or logging into an existing account. Bids can be placed incrementally one-at-a-time, or by leaving an absentee (maximum) proxy bid. Julien’s Live will alert bidders via email if their bids have been outbid.

 

Timed auctions are governed by an open-ended “30 minute rule.” Individual lots will go into 30-minute mode when a bid is placed within 30 minutes of the closing time for that particular lot. Once in 30-minute mode, the closing time will be extended by an additional 30 minutes each time a new bid is placed. Once 30 minutes has passed without any new bids being placed, the lot will close. This process may take several hours beyond the scheduled closing time, so you have the option of leaving a maximum bid. This will allow our technology to bid on your behalf incrementally until you have either won the item, or your maximum amount has been reached.
