Julien's Auctions is proud to present "Hollywood Legends" summer auction taking place at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas on Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th.

This auction boasts memorabilia spanning the inception of Hollywood through our modern-day celebrities, featuring screen-worn costumes, original scripts, and never seen before photographs of some of the biggest stars to grace the silver screen. Leading these highly sought-after offerings is Christopher Reeve's “Superman IV” costume, including cape, bodysuit and tights, acquired directly from the construction manager of the film, Mel Gibson's shield, sword, and costume from “Braveheart”, Audrey Hepburn's Dress Worn in “Funny Face”, Kate Winslet's earrings from “Titanic”, Tony Soprano's Suburban and Patrick Swayze's handwritten questionnaire for 16 magazine.

Also featured is a selection of coveted Marilyn Monroe items from her public and personal life, including Marilyn Monroe's prompt book from "Something's Got to Give", never seen before vintage slides from the set of "Some Like it Hot", Marilyn Monroe's personal bottle of Channel #5 as well as property from the estate of Dr. Ralph Greenson who was Monroe's analyst from approximately 1960 until the time of her death. Included in this collection is the couch that Marilyn Monroe would lie on during her sessions with the famed Doctor as well as gifts that she gave to Dr. Greenson's daughter Joan Greenson.

Another blonde bombshell included in this historic auction is property from the Estate of Anna Nicole Smith. Among the wide variety of offerings are decorative bronzes acquired during her marriage to wealthy oil magnate J. Howard Marshall, furniture seen by a large television audience on her E! Channel series, “The Anna Nicole Smith Show”, and costumes and memorabilia collected during her career as a Playboy model, actress and successful spokeswoman for Guess Jeans and Trimspa. Included are items related to her screen idol Marilyn Monroe, with an extensive collection of memorabilia, including handbags, photographs and other collectibles. This auction will showcase Smith's flair for fashion, fun, fine art and collectibles. Highlights include Anna's 1992 Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster, a pair of monumental velour sofas and a gilded coffee table designed by Bobby Trendy and featured throughout season one of the Anna Nicole Smith Show, a series of hand painted and crystal decorated Marilyn Monroe themed furniture, including a showcase large round coffee table, a pop art style portrait of Anna Nicole Smith in the manner of Andy Warhol, a bronze statue with marble pedestal after D.H. Chiparus entitled “Kamorna”, one of many art bronzes given by J. Howard Marshall to Anna Nicole Smith during their marriage and a Pietro Psaier (1936-2004) Chanel No. 5 De Lux client silkscreen on canvas, marked "A/P Proof”, a genie costume consisting of a fez style purple hat with gold trim and draping lavender organza, a heavily ornamented lavender bra worn by Anna Nicole Smith in 2003 during season one of her DVD launch party at the Ivar in Los Angeles, an Anna Nicole Smith fox fur coat marked "Sorbara for Neiman Marcus." NOTE: A gift to Anna Nicole Smith from her husband J. Howard Marshall, Anna Nicole Smith's golf clubs with personalized pink golf bag and 13- club set with head covers, Sugar Pie's pink wrought iron with pink faux fur upholstery and feather-decorated canopy top doggy bed with a set of traveling dog food bowls in a case marked "Spoiled Rotten", and an original screen print portrait of J. Howard Marshall in the style of Andy Warhol, printed on canvas.

Highlights from "Hollywood Legends" will be on exhibit at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas from June 14th through June 25th prior to the live auction event taking place on Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at the same location. The sale will take place as part of Julien's Auctions spectacular summer auction series, which showcases property from Music Icons, Hollywood Legends, the creators of Star Trek, and more, taking place at Planet Hollywood from June 24th through June 27th, 2010.
